The rates behind this estimate
All figures come from the Services Australia Guide to Australian Government Payments, 1 July – 19 September 2026 edition. Rates are indexed in March and September, and thresholds in July.
This is a guide only, not financial advice. This calculator is an illustration of how the Age Pension income and assets tests work. It does not assess your eligibility (such as Age Pension age or residence rules) and does not model the Work Bonus, Rent Assistance, transitional rates, overseas rates, blind pension provisions, or other special rules that may change your entitlement.
Your actual entitlement can only be determined by Services Australia. Before making decisions, contact Services Australia (including its free Financial Information Service) or a licensed financial adviser.
